Phoenix Charter Academy Network manages a portfolio of free, open-enrollment, college preparatory public high schools in Massachusetts. At Phoenix, I lead the development of annual budgets totaling $11 million, partner with our Board's Finance Committee to secure long-term financial stability, and coach school and network leaders on financial management. Additionally, I implemented human resource and payroll systems refinements for 118 staff and guided professional development for network finance, operations, and information technology staff.
Previously, I worked on engagement with the Connecticut State Department of Education, where my Mass Insight Education team partnered with school, district, and state leaders to build and implement budget and accountability tools to transform low-performing schools across the state. I also have managed a college savings research initiative called SEED for Oklahoma Kids, and advocated on Capitol Hill on behalf of students, teachers, and administrators for the Association for Career and Technical Education.
Originally from St. Louis, I earned a B.S. from Washington University in St. Louis, an M.A. from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and an M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management. I enjoy triathlons, exploring the outdoors, and just wrapped 5+ years as a Big Brother mentor.
